These terms apply to the knosky.com website and the KnoSky tool.

The software

KnoSky is free and source-available under the Functional Source License (FSL-1.1-MIT). Your use of the software is governed by that license: you may use it freely, you may not repackage it as a competing product, and it converts to a permissive MIT/Apache license two years after each release.

Provided “as is”

KnoSky and this website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for how you use KnoSky and for any files, repositories, or generated “city” artifacts you create or share. Generated artifacts contain file names, paths, headings, and short excerpts — review them (or build with --share-safe) before sharing.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors of KnoSky shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software or this website.

Trademark

“KnoSky” is a trademark of the author. The license above grants rights to the software, not to the KnoSky name or brand.
